Today, we are excited to announce that we have reached 1 million downloads for our 3 Manga Rock apps. Given that the first Manga Rock was launched in April 2010, we have had quite a journey. Thank you all for your support in the last 2 years. Without your feedback and suggestions, we wouldn’t have been able to make Manga Rock what it is today.
Fun facts about Manga Rock apps
- The first Manga Rock is the most popular app, with over 500k downloads and 50k active users in Mar 2012.
- Over 50% of Manga Rock MF users have the first Manga Rock app installed.
- An average user open Manga Rock apps 3 times per day, spending a little over 10 minutes.
- In Feb 2012, a total of 51 years and 11 months was spent in all Manga Rock apps, or a little over 1.5 year on a daily basis.
Fragmentations in support
With the increase in users for Manga Rock apps, we have also seen an influx of user enquiries. Throwing in the fact that we don’t just make Manga Rock apps, but also other apps like Comic Express and Fuzel, makes keeping track of your feedback on our company’s Facebook and Twitter harder than it should be.
A solution for that is…
Given its user base by now, we think it’s time for Manga Rock to have its own Facebook and Twitter. It will help current and new users find and talk about Manga Rock much easier . This will also helps us keep track and respond to your feedback more promptly.
Now, you guys can follow our new Manga Rock apps’s Facebook and Twitter. Send us feedback, request for new features, discuss your favorite manga etc. we are listening.
Have a great day!
The NAB team

Taking photos is a great way to capture different perspectives and moments that we would otherwise miss. We use great apps like Camera+ or Hipstamatic to take photos, Instagram to share photos, or FatBooth just to have a good laugh.
While a good photographer (or iphoneographer) can perfectly capture a moment with only a few shots, another great way to do so is combining many photos together.
Make a collage.
Fuzel isn’t the first collage app. There are apps (and good ones too) like PicFrame, Diptic, or Grid Lens. Nice apps, but they share one common limitation: you can only create collages based on pre-set layouts. Sure, you can adjust the frame nodes to modify the layout, but there’s a restriction to how much you can adjust those nodes. This limits what you can create.
How is Fuzel different then?
We develop an all-new cutting tool so that you can “cut” almost any layout that you want. Just slice to cut your own layouts. With other features like apply photo effects to individual photos, customize base colors, adjust collage or photo outlines separately, add frames and captions, we believe that you will have a fun time making creative collages on your iPhone.
Read more about Fuzel or get it now at $0.99 limited-time introductory price.
Happy Leap Day!

Grab it now at: Comic Express 1.1.
IMPORTANT: right after releasing version 1.0, we had identified a serious bug causing the importing to crash. Many users have also confirmed this problem. To fix it, we have no other choice but to reset the app database in version 1.1. This is to ensure a much more stable application from version 1.1 onward. We are deeply sorry for your inconvenience.

Beside from the bug mentioned above, it has been a wonderful month since the app launched in November 3rd. Thanks all for your support! During this time, we have received many positive feedback, such as:
“Works wonderfully. Can read all the comics I want now” – 5/5 stars rating- Gomared – Canada.
“Only needs Dropbox support and it will be perfect” - 5/5 stars rating - Peter Whitley – Japan.
Also a review from Appaddict.net:
“Comic Express is a solid, simple, fast and universal comic book reader app for users. Offering quite possibly the most robust organization features in the genre, it falls when it comes to options for loading new content. However, with just a few minor updates, Comic Express could easily become the de facto choice for iOS comic book reader. – 4/5 stars rating.
We can’t be happier. One thing we know for sure: users love Comic Express. Thus, we will work hard to release constant updates for the app, making it truly “the de facto choice” for iOS comic book reader. For version 1.1, we have added organization for comic issues. This feature comes very handy, especially when the auto-import does not sort comic issues accordingly.
Lastly, a little heads up: Comic Express 1.2 will definitely have Dropbox integration. With Dropbox, users can access and import comics anytime and anywhere they want. More on this later, but for now, enjoy reading comics with Comic Express 1.1.
