Hi everyone, we have confirmed a bug affecting the Downloaded manga in MR2: anytime a new chapter for the downloaded manga is released, it will cause the app to be unable to open the downloaded chapters.
The coming update will fix this issue.
In the mean time, you have to delete and re-download to view those affected manga again. If you don’t want to re-download, please wait for the coming update, which should be available next week once Apple finishes reviewing the app. Thank you for your understanding and we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We have discovered a bug that causes the app crashes when adding manga to download. A hot fix is pending. For now, there is a workaround to prevent the app from crashing:
Whenever you start the app, please pull the manga catalog to refresh it. OR
Enable the “auto update” setting inside the INFO tab.
Both of the above methods will prevent the app from crashing when adding manga to download. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. More info about the hot fix will be coming.
Recently we have received a few feedbacks regarding the app Manga Rock MF crashing. We have discovered that the app will crash if users start to use the app while it’s still updating the manga catalog. We apologize for the inconvenience, a fix for this bug will be included in the next update for Manga Rock MF. For now, here is a temporary workaround :
1. Exit the app, quit its background process (if you’re using iOS 4), then relaunch. Please patiently wait for the app to finish updating its catalog. It may take a while if you have not restarted the app in a whilte.
2. If the app takes very long to update, it’s best to reset the app from the INFO tab. CAUTION: all downloaded manga will be deleted upon reset.
As for those of you asking about Manga Rock HD for the iPad, YES IT IS COMING SOON! We are in the final stage of development, and after some more testing, it will be ready to BLOW YOUR MINDs away. Be prepared for it
A bug was discovered in Manga Rock MF 1.0:
If your device’s language setting is anything other than English, Manga Rock MF will not be able to populate the catalog. In order to populate the library, please set the device’s language to English by going to Settings –> General –> International –> Language —> English.
Thank you to Aaron Tang for telling us about this bug.
