Manga Rock Android now back on store

We are very happy to let you know that Manga Rock Android is back on the Google Play Store.

In this post, we will show you how to transfer all of your app data (Favorites, Recents, Personalized Settings) and in-app purchase from the old Manga Rock to the new one.

For your convenience, open this blog on your Android device before proceeding. Please choose one of the following choices that matches your situation.

1. For users that paid for full version + still have the old Manga Rock

Step 1: Open your device Settings / Security / Check “Unknown source”. This will allow you to install our app’s APK.

Step 2: Download & install this app’s apk file HERE. This will overwrite your existing Manga Rock app and rename it as “Manga Rock old”.

If opening the apk file with Chrome browser does not work, you can use the native web browser OR the app ES File Explorer instead (free download on the Play Store HERE)

Step 3: Open “Manga Rock old”, go to “Back up & Restore”, and log in with either your Facebook, Twitter, or email address.

Step2_Vu

Step 4: Once you finish backing up, click on the button “Get it now” to install the new Manga Rock app from the Play Store. Or you can download the app directly from the Play Store HERE.

Step3

Step 5: Open the new Manga Rock app, go to “Back up & Restore”, log in with the same account you’ve used in Step 3 and restore your app data.

Step4

Please keep your account information safe, don’t share it with anyone else, thanks!

Now you should be able to enjoy your manga, however just make sure that everything works fine in the new Manga Rock before deleting the old one. If you have any question, please send us an email to support@notabasement.com.

2. For users that paid for full version + don't have the old Manga Rock anymore

Step 1: Download the new Manga Rock app from the Play Store HERE and open it.

Step 2: Login “Back up & Restore”

Step 3: Forward the email titled “Your Google Play Order Receipt” to support@notabasement.com. This is your proof of purchase for the old Manga Rock app. In this email, please include your Manga Rock’s Users ID (case-sensitive) as well.

Note: The Manga Rock’s Users’ ID is not the same as the Google Play Store’s ID. It’s located in the “Backup & Restore” section of the app itself.
